Michigan Modern Psychology, with offices in Dearborn, Ferndale, Plymouth, and Brownstown, is committed to providing the latest in clinical innovations from the behavioral sciences within a psychodynamic context. The practice first opened in 1996 and continues to grow.

At Michigan Modern Psychology we offer therapy and evaluations for individuals of all ages in a private and comfortable setting. With multiple therapists on staff to meet your clinical needs, we provide comprehensive and well-rounded treatment for children, individuals, couples and families. We also offer alcohol and substance abuse assessments and counseling. Most new clients can be scheduled for their first appointment within one week of the initial phone call.

Meet the Psychologist

Dr. Manrique - Director - Psychologist

Dr. Manrique received his Master’s degree and Doctoral degree in Clinical Psychology. He specializes in adult therapy for anxiety, depression, and personality disorders. He is also trained in child psychology, neuropsychology, and substance abuse. Dr. Manrique is a former professor at University of Michigan-Dearborn, taught at Wayne State University, is affiliated with The Michigan Analytic Institute, and is a published researcher.
